Previously, Salmah said, the head office level Ramadan tour was launched in Kuala Berang, Terengganu on March 10 involving the participation of 34 RTM radio stations nationwide and is expected to end in Johor on March 30.

Salmah said on the first day, the convoy in Sabah will stop at two locations, namely Madrasah Darul Hadis Sabah in Putatan and Rumah Warga Tua Sri Prichard, Kinarut to greet the residents and then hand over donations from strategic partners, before the convoy continues its tour to Keningau.

“In Keningau, the Ramadan Tour continued with cooking and distributing Kodop porridge at several selected locations including the Keningau district police headquarters and the office of the Malaysian Civil Defence Department.

“In the evening, there will be a breaking of fast ceremony and presentation of donations to the less fortunate at Al-Dzilal Mosque, Kampung Bayangan,” she explained.

Meanwhile, Salmah said, the Ramadan Tour activity in Tawau will be held on March 26 at the Nurul Hikmah Mosque, Kampung Blok 31, Balung; and then the convoy will continue to Sandakan on March 27 thus becoming the closing location and the culmination of the programme.
