Good response to community programme

The community programme organised by various government agencies in Tasik Biru Bau recently is said to have received overwhelming response.

A statement issued here yesterday said Assistant Community Services Minister Datuk Peter Nansian Ngusie, who is Tasik Biru assemblyman, praised the organiser and local people for their support.

“He ( Nansian) also praised Kuching Resident Zamhari Saidin, Bau district officer Inting Nyami and various government agencies, including Malaysian Armed Forces and the Agriculture Department for their support to make the event a success.

“The programme was well supported by the people,” the statement said, adding that the event attended by about 500 participants was for the people in Bau to get dental service and health screening.
