Merdeka Palace offers Mother’s Day special feast on May 9 and 10
KUCHING: Surprise mum this Mother’s Day to a special feast at Merdeka Palace’s Aurora Court and award-winning Italian restaurant Ristorante Beccari on May 9 and 10.
This Saturday ( May 9), Aurora Court will be holding its ‘Mother’s Day Weekend Buffet Dinner’ featuring a variety of Malaysian and International cuisines as well as live cooking stations that enable diners to enjoy a wide range of vegetable and fresh pasta dishes cooked on the spot. The buffet spread also includes ovenbaked ‘Vietnamese’ marinated red snapper, roasted beef strip-loin, whole lamb leg, duck and char siew chicken just to name a few at the carving station.
Be sure to sample some paella with sausages, braised beef with spices and raisin in soya sauce, steamed whole sea bass with Nyonya sauce, and deep fried boneless chicken with lemon sauce before ending the dinner with tantalising desserts at the dessert bar where diners can find crème brulee in cups, warm berries crumble, warm sago pearl with sweet potato, cheese cake, mousse cake and more.
On top of that, mums dining at the buffet dinner will also be treated to a mystery gift.
Priced at only RM74.80 per adult and 50 per cent off for children aged four to 10 years, the dinner is available from 6.30pm to 10pm.
On Mother’s Day ( May 10), treat mum to a special Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea where the highlights include refreshing and health salads, plain porridge with condiments and cream of chicken soup among others.
Diners will also have the option to request for omelette, scrambled egg, fried egg, yong tau foo with tang hoon and roti canai at the live cooking station. Desserts such as cream caramel, warm apple crumble, warm sweet potato in ginger syrup, kuih gula hangus, kuih lapis, profiteroles and more should not be missed too.
The afternoon tea, which is available from 12pm to 4pm, is priced at only RM52.80+ per adult and 50 per cent off for children aged four to 10 years.
Meanwhile, Ristorante Beccari will also feature a scrumptious buffet dinner on Mother’s Day priced at RM85.80 per adult and 50 per cent off for children aged four to 10.
Diners can start the meal with an array of antipasto such as Caprese of Tomatoes and Mozzarella, Fish Carpaccio in extra virgin olive oil, Bruschetta Fiorentina with spicy stew calamari, and more before heading over to the carving station to try the Roasted Tenderloin, Smoked Fresh Salmon and Grilled Lamb Shoulder. Aside from that, a range of meat dishes, pastas and pizzas are available for diners to savour.
