Utas, University of Winchester to participate in MMS Edu Fair

-

KUCHING: University of Tasmania Australia ( Utas) and University of Winchester (UW) UK will be participating in the second MMS Education Fair from Aug 15 to 23 at various locations in East Malaysia.

Utas boasts of excellence in learning and teaching and focuses on the individuals. It also offers a generous Tasmanian International Scholarship scheme for new students and a wide range of on- going scholarships for current students (both Australian and international).

Tuition fees for international students are affordable and Tasmanian cities have lower cost of living than most other regions in Australia, allowing for a more enjoyable student lifestyle.

The University of Winchester on the other hand, is one of UK’s most popular and supportive academic institutions and welcomes international students to an exciting range of attractive programmes.

Following an assessment of crime in university cities, The Complete University Guide has identified UW as the second safest university for student- relevant crime in England and Wales.

“We are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for our students. It is gratifying to see that the University of Winchester has been recognised as a safe university across both England and Wales,” said deputy Vice- Chancellor Prof Elizabeth Stuart in a press release.

“All halls of residence at the university are supported by residential wardens and 24hour in-house site security. The security team also provide out- ofhours pastoral care and are fully qualified first aiders. We have a close working relationship with the local police together with CCTV coverage and other security measures on campus.”
