Uniqlo Malaysia to open seven new stores, expands to East Malaysia

KUCHING: Customers in Malaysia will have more access to its high quality and affordable clothing as Uniqlo Malaysia will be opening seven stores in coming months.

The stores will be located at Klang Valley, AEON Klebang, Aman Sentral, Imago KK Times Square, Suria Sabah, The Spring Mall and Vivacity Megamall.

The new store openings mark Uniqlo Malaysia’s first entry into East Malaysia, as it looks to provide more Malaysians with high quality, comfortabl­e and stylish clothing at affordable prices.

UNIQLO Malaysia currently has 25 stores located within the Klang Valley, Johor, Malacca, Pahang and Penang.

“We are excited with the upcoming new store openings as it means more Malaysians will be able to purchase and experience our product offerings.

“We remain committed to provide the best shopping experience and make our innovative products such as AIRism and Heattech more accessible to the communitie­s in these locations,” said UNIQLO Malaysia Co-Chief Operating Officer Jocelyn Ng in a press release.

UNIQLO recently launched its inaugural modest wear collection in collaborat­ion with popular UK born designer, Hana Tajima.

In coming months, the brand’s popular Fall Winter products including its UltraLight Down outerwears, wool jackets, cashmere cardigans and Heattech is set to hit the stores and its e-commerce platform.
