Explore options after SPM,STPM, UEC at EduQuest Fair
KUCHING: EduQuest Education Services will be holding its Education Fair 2016 with the theme “Start Your Education Journey Here” on March 10 (Thursday, 1pm-5pm) at Pullman Hotel Kuching.
Parents and students are cordially invited to attend (free admission) and speak to representatives from universities and colleges, ranging from pre-university, diploma to degree and professional levels.
EduQuest also provides free consultation for more than 80 universities and colleges in Malaysia and overseas including Singapore, Australia, UK and France.
Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN), one of the exhibitors, will be explaining the requirements and procedure to apply for an education loan.
Some institutions are offering free application/registration fee if a student registers during the education fair. Bring forecast/actual result and relevant documents for immediate assessment and registration.
“Currently, there seems to be a trend where students are undecided on the next step forward after SPM, STPM and UEC. Therefore, this education fair aims to provide an avenue for them to explore the education opportunities provided by these institutions,” said Education manager of EduQuest Michael Yii.
He said institutions in Malaysia now offer scholarships for deserving students, which makes it more affordable to pursue higher education. Students are entitled for lucky draw prizes if they pre-register online at bit. ly/eduquestkch.
Among the participating institutions are Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation, Brickfields Asia College, First City University College (previously known as KBU International College), HeriotWatt University Malaysia, IACT College, Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur, KDU University College, KDU College, Point College, Riam Institute of Technology, SAE Institute Malaysia, Singapore Institute of Management (SIM), Southern University College Taylor’s University, Taylor’s College, University College of Technology Sarawak, Xiamen University Malaysia Campus, Jinan University China.
EduQuest provides complimentary career and personality test for students to gauge their aptitude.
EduQuest also supports students on accommodation, scholarship and financial aid application, airport pickup in Peninsular Malaysia and predeparture guidance.
EduQuest is also the IELTS registration centre authorised by the British Council. With that, EduQuest provides IELTS orientation to prepare candidates for the international English test. All professional services provided by EduQuest are free of charge.
