FTMS Internationa College holds three-day Open Day
KUCHING: The three-day Open Day organised of FAME International College (formerly known as FTMS College) at its Jalan Song campus will end today.
There are special promotions during the event. Free merchandise will be given to those eligible on a first-comefirst-served basis for registrations made during this period.
Special cash rebate of RM500 in addition to other promotions will be given to those who successfully registered.
There will also be waiver of registration fees for students who register for the April intake, terms and conditions apply.
UEC/SPM/STPM leavers can bring along their mock examination results for on-the-spot application and approval. Full scholarships are available for all programmes offered by the college.
FAME International College (FAME) is a private higher education provider. It offers certificate, foundation and diploma courses, Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) and The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Certificate courses include Certificate in Business Studies while foundation courses include Foundation in Management.
For diploma courses, FAME offers Diplomas in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, Business Information Systems and Entrepreneurship.
It also conducts courses in International English.
FAME launched two new 3+0 degree programmes in collaboration with the University of Cumbria (UoC), United Kingdom (UK). The first cohort of students for the Bachelor of Science (Hons) Business Management, Accounting and Finance and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) International Business Management began their semester in January.
All diploma holders at FAME can gain direct entry into year two, allowing them to attain the bachelor degrees locally.
The degree programmes are facilitated by local lecturers working closely with UoC faculty to ensure similar learning experiences with students on campus in the UK.
University of Cumbria is an established university in the UK. According to the Guardian League Table 2016 published on May 26, 2015, UoC’s business management courses were ranked 39 out of 96 business schools in the UK.
Recently, UoC received the HR Excellence in Research Award from the European Commission. The award recognises the university’s commitment to supporting the growth and career development of its researchers, with the aim of improving the quantity, quality and impact of research undertaken at the institution.
All courses offered by FAME are approved by the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) and accredited by Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
