RHB aims to increase customer base by 30 pct by year-end

KUALA LUMPUR: The RHB Banking Group aims to increase its customer base by 30 per cent from nearly 30,000 by year- end with the unveiling of its all new RHB Premier service, logo and value propositio­ns.

In a statement, the group said RHB Premier is exclusivel­y designed to reward the affluent segment of its customers and their loved ones with privileges that put them first.

“At the moment, only two per cent of our 3.9 million customers are from the affluent segment.

“With the growing affluence of Malaysians, we see great opportunit­ies to tap further into this segment which we aim to grow by 85 per cent by 2020,” RHB Executive Director and Head of Group Retail Banking U Chen Hock said.

He said the all new RHB Premier was introduced as part of the group’s plan to offer customers better services and lifestyle experience­s in its quest to increase and grow its profitabil­ity from the segment.

As at July this year, RHB Premier has 18 dedicated centres nationwide and it targets to add five more by 2017.

Through RHB Premier, customers get exclusive privileges which include personalis­ed and priority services, as well as comprehens­ive financial solutions.

Eligible customers also get access to award winning funds by RHB Asset Management.

In step with the launch, RHB Premier also introduces RHB Premier Visa Infinite Credit and Debit Card Privileges which delight customers with reward points, golf privileges, lounge privileges and travel privileges. — Bernama
