Kerjaya Prospek procures RM338 million mixed development project
KUCHING: Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd (Kerjaya Prospek) has secured a contract for a mixed development project in Kuala Lumpur worth approximately RM338.79 million.
The company in a statement yesterday said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd had on yesterday signed a letter of award (LA) with Nusmetro Property Sdn Bhd ( Nusmetro) for the main building works of a proposed mixed development project known as “Arte Mont Kiara”.
Kerjaya Prospek revealed that Arte Mont Kiara (Arte MK) is a mixed-development joint venture projectbetweenNusmetroandNaza TTDI Sdn Bhd (Naza TTDI) with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM1.2 billion.
Arte MK comprises of simplex and duplex serviced suites and serviced residences housed within three towers and a nine storey podium of car park on Lot 80418, (Plot 3) to be built at Jalan Khidmat Usaha, off Persiaran Dutamas, Mukim Batu, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur.
Kerjaya Prospek disclosed that construction works of the project will take 38 months from its scheduled commencement in September 2016. The project is targeted for completion by October 2019.
Commenting on the project award, Kerjaya Prospek’s executive chairman Datuk Tee Eng Ho said, “We are delighted to surprise our investors with yet another major project win.
“I would like to thank Nusmetro and Naza TTDI for awarding this prestigious project to us and are honoured that we can be part of such an iconic and futuristic development.
“We look forward to the commencement of work and delivering this project according to the high standards that we are known for,” he said.
On another note, Nusmetro’s joint managing director Thomas Chan said, “We are excited with the appointment of Kerjaya Prospek as the main contractor for Arte MK as this is the first of its kind building in Malaysia where the building design is wrapped around with an aluminium skin.
“Arte MK is by far the most sophisticated in design in comparison to the other ARTE projects due to its curvy aluminium fins that reach the height of 66 storeys.
“So we are indeed pleased to find a contractor that is ready to face this architectural feat head on,” he shared.
