The ICCA Research Department recognises members’ research contributions based on the input uploaded into the database, and the researcher with the highest score for a particular month is ‘Researcher of the Month’.
Chan, acknowledging the award, said, “It is paramount to provide our sales and business development team with accurate and timely information to pursue opportunities in business events. It is equally important that we share/update the ICCA database with the right information to assist our fellow ICCA members to achieve the same goal.
“ICCA has provided such a great avenue for us to share our information, facilitate our work, and grow the business events industry. Why not we fully utilise this awesome tool and contribute towards the betterment of the industry?”
He gave fellow ICCA members tips on how to be effective researchers.
“The new ICCA database interface comes in really handy; do check out the ‘Hot’ icon button for potential leads. Apart from the ICCA database, you may want to check out the associations’ latest news from the internet search tool for additional valuable information/tips when lobbying for potential business events. Also, don’t forget to update ICCA if you find something new by clicking the red button – ‘Update’. All the best!”
