KUCHING: KL Metro Group will be showcasing their Lexis Hibiscus project in Port Dickson tomorrow (Aug 27) and on Sunday (Aug 28) during a preview at Pullman Miri Waterfront Hotel in Miri.

According to a press statement, the resort is strategically located along the longest stretch of beach in Peninsular Malaysia.

“Lexis Hibiscus is built in the form of Malaysia’s national flower, the ‘Bunga Raya’. Joint venturing with the state government of Negeri Sembilan, Lexis Hibiscus is the second most recognizable landmark of Malaysia, after the Petronas Twin Towers. It has also been acknowledged as the ‘largest water home development in the world’,” the group said.

Due to its close proximity to Kuala Lumpur, Malacca, Johor Bahru and Singapore, Port Dickson has been a favourite vacation spot with both locals and foreigners for the past 50 years.

The KLIA and KLIA2 airports as well as the renowned F1 Sepang Race Circuit are all within 40 minutes drive from the development. Port Dickson is

also a popular hunting ground for seafood lovers and avid anglers.

Fully completed and duly issued with its Certificate of Completion and Compliance, Lexis Hibiscus is now in full operation.

The hotel consists of 639 units (water villas and tower suites); each equipped with its own private pool and steam sauna. The units range in size from 926 sq ft onwards and come with 5star international hotel standard furnishings and renovations. Currently managed by the Lexis Hotel Group, Lexis Hibiscus has been enjoying an average of 65 per cent occupancy since opening its doors in May 2015.

KL Metro is in town to promote the last 10 units of the project and at the same time, to introduce the new icon to more Malaysians. Investors will get an option to lease the unit back to KL Metro for 15 years.

As one of their special incentives for this weekend, returns for the first five years will be guaranteed at seven per cent per annum while the balance of 10 years will be on a profit- sharing basis based on the total income generated by the hotel. All investors will also get to enjoy 10 nights of free stay at the hotel without any ‘black out’ dates.

“As Lexis Hibiscus will be fully managed by professional hoteliers, owners will no longer have to worry about the hassle of managing their property. Repairs, maintenance, payments, collections, etc will be taken care of by the hotel operator. In short, Lexis Hibiscus offers you a total hands-off investment experience,” the group said.

In conjunction with the preview this weekend, KL Metro will also be offering extra freebies to the first three confirmed purchasers.
