Brad Pitt not dating Kate Hudson, despite new report
LOS ANGELES: Estranged actor Brad Pitt is not dating Kate Hudson, despite a new report that is being widely spread over several online news sites.
In an item with the headline, “Brad Pitt Dating Kate Hudson After Angelina Jolie Split? Are They Having Secret Meet Ups?” the repeatedly discredited HollywoodLife questioned: “Do we have a REALLY hot new couple on our hands!?”
The equally questionable Australian tabloid Woman’s Day has been reporting that “while Pitt has been focusing on work… behind the scenes, he’s been starting a new romance with Kate Hudson.”
“Kate is Brad’s mystery woman,” HollywoodLies has quoted the Aussie magazine, before regurgitating the tabloid’s source by saying, “They’ve become extremely close over the past few weeks, following several secret meet-ups.”
The website added, “Interestingly, celebrity bodyguard, Kris Herzog, who’s worked with the actor, also tells the mag that he ‘wouldn’t be surprised at all’ if the stars began dating.’”
Previously, it had also been falsely reported that Pitt is undergoing rehabilitation to ease the stress of divorce proceedings.
Notably, HollywoodLies had been caught fabricating an item about Margot Robbie causing Pitt’s split from Angelina Jolie.
A source close to Pitt has assured that “it’s not true” that he is dating Hudson.
Similarly, an insider source has told London-based Daily Mail that the Australian report is “false”.
Meanwhile, Pitt remains in a legal wrangle over custody of his six children, with Jolie not willing to budge from granting only visitation rights.
