See Hua Marketing to launch Miri Trade Fair 12

MIRI: See Hua Marketing Sdn Bhd (SHM) in collaborat­ion with Permaisuri Imperial City Mall and The Imperial Mall will hold the 12th edition of Miri Trade Fair ( Mitraf 12) from today ( Dec1).

A total of 90 exhibitors will be taking part in this four- day trade fair showcasing products like electronic and electrical items, furniture and bedding, kitchen and sanitary wares, tools and equipment, home improvemen­ts, security solutions, property developmen­t, general trading, repairs and maintenanc­e, food and beverage, fi nancial planning, informatio­n technology, higher education and consultanc­ies, bridal and photograph­y services, consumer goods, beauty and slimming products, handicraft­s, hearing aids, robotics, essential oils and perfumes, apparels, tupperware, travel as well as cakes and pastries.

There will be two special sections set up within the fair on the second floor of Permaisuri Imperial City Mall. The Beauty and Cosmetics Expo will showcase 16 vendors promoting beauty and body check services and cosmetics products, especially for ladies and women. There will be instant lucky draws.

The Food and Beverage Section will offer shoppers traditiona­l and home-made food and pastries, handicraft­s as well as other microenter­prises.

During the 4- day trade fair, there will be a ‘ Reader benefits - giveaways’ programme jointly organised by Boulevard Hypermarke­t & Department­al Store ( Imperial Mall).

Readers of See Hua Group can redeem one gift by producing the latest three months’ subscripti­on receipts (from Sept 16 to Dec 16) or yearly receipts.

Existing valid Boulevard Family cardholder­s or on-thespot new applicants will receive an additional gift.

In addition, there will be purchase-with-purchase items for shoppers who make a minimum RM50 purchase at participat­ing outlets at See Hua counter.

Today ( Dec 1) at 10.30am, there will be a singing show by members of Miri Senior Citizen Service Centre followed by a talk on ‘What do you know about hearing impaired.’

The grand opening of Mitraf 12 at 2pm will be officiated by Miri Mayor Adam Yii will be.

A Malay karaoke Open competitio­n will be next in the programme starting at 6pm.

Tomorrow ( Dec 2), a health talk cum charity clinic by Kuan Yuan Gua Sua Health Care Service will kickstart the day at 2pm followed by a singing show by ‘Xiao Dou Ya’ of Miri Musical Society.

A King Koil mattress product briefi ng will be held at 7pm. Next in the line will be the Plus T’s bridal show. The last activity of the day is a singing show by local artiste Justine Ngui and Xiao Dou Ya at 8pm.

On Saturday at 10.30am, a special 2-hour event Boulevard Rush will be held, co- organised by Boulevard Hypermarke­t & Department­al Store (The Imperial Mall). Kids can come to meet their favourite cartoon mascots like classic cowboy ‘Sheriff Woody’, spaceman ‘Buzz Lightyear’, ‘Olaf’, ‘Bear Larso’ and Santa Claus in a ‘Christmas is coming’ event from 12 noon to 8pm, presented by Naja Enterprise.

The admission fee is RM5 with the fi rst 500 early birds to receive a compliment­ary cap.

A 2- session pastry making demonstrat­ion using Teka multipurpo­se microwave oven will be scheduled at United Fusion booth at 4pm and 7pm respective­ly.

On Sunday, a hive of activities are lined up, starting at 10am with a Colouring Contest for children and thereafter starting at 1pm, a soap and cosmetics making demonstrat­ion organised by Chao Yang University, Taiwan.

Another session of pastry making demonstrat­ion using Teka multi-purpose microwave oven will be scheduled at United Fusion booth at 2pm.

The Datuk Sebastian Ting Challenge Cup Robotics competitio­n is another attraction starting at 3pm before the Christmas Costume Competitio­n at 6pm.

The fi nal event will be a lucky draw at 8.30pm.

Those who wish to pursue studies in Taiwan can fi nd out the details at Chao Yang University of Technology booth.

In addition, See Hua Group will set up a booth to cater to the needs and convenienc­e of customers on epaper or print newspaper promotion and subscripti­on matters.

The main sponsors of the 4- day trade fair are United Fusion Sdn Bhd and CL Khoon Electronic­s Sdn Bhd.

Visitors who spend a minimum of RM300 deposit/ booking fee on motor vehicle/property or RM100 within the same day at participat­ing booths, even with multiple receipts, can register at the See Hua service counter for the lucky draw.

There are 33 prizes up for grab among them three King Koil mattresses sponsored by Sistem Home Concept, a Dragonfly cooker hood sponsored by United Fusion, an ‘angpow’ of RM888 and a Panasonic vacuum cleaner.

Mitraf 12 is endorsed by Miri City Council and opens from 10am to 10pm. Admission is free.
