Pre-Christmas Night celebration at Farley Supermarket
KOTA SAMARAHAN: The public are welcome to join a PreChristmas Night celebration at Farley Supermarket, Jalan Muara Tuang in Bandar Riyal on Sunday, Dec 18.
Jointly organised by Farley Supermarket and St Francis Church, the celebration themed ‘Joy To The World’ will start with a procession from the church at 6pm.
“We are giving away more than 20 lucky draw prizes that night,” Farley manager Eiseng Lau said at a press conference here yesterday.
He said there would be a 300member congregation from St Francis Church and more from other churches.
The organiser expects a crowd of 1,000 for the procession.
After the procession ends at Farley Supermarket around 7pm, lay reader Jason William will give the opening prayer followed by a speech by Kota Samarahan Council chairman Dato Peter Minos.
The programme includes a Christmas carol, lucky draw, video presentation, praise and worship.
Expected to be present are assistant priest Rev Harold Hold and event coordinator Stanley Kiew - both from St Francis Church.
Those joining the procession are advised to turn up early at church at 5.30pm and wear white shirts and Christmas hat.
