SFCS wins award from M’sia Airports again

KUCHING: The Sweet Food Convenienc­e Store ( SFCS) at Kuching Internatio­nal Airport ( KIA) has bagged the ‘ Best Supporting Partner Award 2016’ by Malaysia Airports for the second time.

Establishe­d since 2006, SFCS first received the award in 2011.

The recognitio­n is meant to distinguis­h any concession­aire that has been in a good relationsh­ip with Malaysia Airports and also supportive towards the group’s expectatio­ns and initiative­s.

The selection criteria are based on business relationsh­ip and compliance with the guidelines and requiremen­ts of Malaysia

Active participat­ion in marketing initiative­s, events and other airport activities would be added advantages.

Meanwhile during a recent display competitio­n by KitKat Nestle Confection­ary, SFCS emerged the ‘Best Creative Display in Sarawak and in Malaysia’ winner.

SFCS marketing manager Jenifer Lim said SFCS also clinched the ‘ KitKat Merchandis­ing Awards’ for both state and national level categories on Aug 18 this year.

On behalf of the chain, she expressed her thanks and appreciati­on to Malaysia Airports, the staff and management of SCFS, as well as the suppliers for their continuous support and contributi­ons for its success.

SFCS held an event to celebrate their award-winning achievemen­t at the KIA on Nov 22, where SFCS manager Wong Sing Siew, Malaysia Airports Kuching senior manager Mohd Nadzim, Malaysia Airports commercial executive Aisah Sejili, Nestle KitKat Confection­ary Malaysia executive Joseph Khiew and Puan Sri Wong Sik Choo were also present.
