Liansin Trading launches limited-edition 2017 table calendar
KUCHING: Liansin Trading Sdn Bhd is giving away free 2017 table calendars for purchases of its nutritious Haryana Rice packs weighing 5kg and above.
The calendar also features different tips on health and wellness on every month page, says its senior marketing manager Lim Boo Khiong.
However, customers are advised to garb the offer quickly as there are limited copies of the calendar available throughout the state.
“Customers will need to redeem the calendar from the service counter of the outlets where they purchase the Haryana rice,” he told reporters during a press conference on the promotion at Hoi Tin Lau Restaurant, Jalan Mendu here.
Lim said apart from the table calendars, Liansin Trading would also be distributing copies of the 2017 poster calendar at various outlets statewide.
On Haryana rice, Lim said it was the healthy choice for consumers as it had lower content of fat and sugar than the normal range, with added minerals like potassium, iron and phosphorus.
“Asians are the top rice consumers in the world. Seeing that many of us cannot live without rice, it is better for us to choose a healthier variety to maintain our health.
“Of course, it is also important for us to exercise regularly and get sufficient rest,” he said.
The venue of the press conference, Hoi Tin Lau Restaurant, also came out with healthy dishes using Haryana rice crafted by Chef Goh Ah Seng and his culinary team.
Meanwhile, the second season of the `Jimmy Contest’ will conclude this month, during which participants stand to win the grand prize of an Ogawa Smart Vogue massage chair, as well as other attractive main prizes comprising a Samsung washer/dryer and a Buffalo smart eco-cooker, as well as the special prize of five mountain bikes, and 50 packs of 10kg Butterfly fragrant rice as consolation prizes.
Jimmy Contest – Season 3 will kick off on Jan 1 next year and will run till March 31 offering a Sharp 65-inch television set as the grand prize, a Samsung refrigerator and a Buffalo smart air-fryer as the main prizes, five units of Buffalo 1.8-litre digital rice cookers as special prizes, and 50 packs of 10kg Butterfly fragrant rice bags as consolation prizes. The winners from all three seasons will then be in the running for the super grand prize of a Mitsubishi Outlander.
Contest forms are available with every purchase of any 5kg or 10kg pack of Liansin or Tong Seng Huat rice. Upon filling, submit to the forms to Liansin office or drop them in the contest boxes at all participating supermarkets and retail stores.
