AMA opens enrolment for singing, musical instrument lessons
MIRI: Grandeur Chin aims to make full use of his 15 years’ worth of experience to groom more local talents in music and singing.
The principal of Amazing Music Academy (AMA) was a part-time singer in Singapore for many years, having attained ‘Ocean Butterflies Music Forest Pop Vocal Certificate’.
He graduated from the same school as those attended by wellknown artistes like JJ Lin, Ah Do and Chen Jie Yi.
Goh Kheng Long — one of Singapore’s most versatile, prolific and sought- after music professionals — is his mentor.
Now, Chin has returned here and established AMA, which has a proven track record in conducting private vocal lessons and also teaching musical instruments to students.
AMA has its own instructors for guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, piano, violin and drum, as well as experienced vocal tutors who have extensive performing experience at live events such as musical festivals, public events and school concerts.
The academy organises a music concert for students and teachers every year.
It also sends its representatives to events such as the Global Art New World 2016, Pibakis fundraiser, Zero Stray Animal fundraising event and Curtin E- fact Syabas programme / workshop.
AMA provides individual voice/ musical instrument learning sessions for children (aged six to 17) and adults (aged 18 and above), as well as group learning sessions.
