Zhoumi and Rosamund Kwan deny dating rumours
SEOUL: Korean boy band member Zhoumi, 30, of Super Junior-M is rumoured to be romantically-linked with Hong Kong actress Rosamund Kwan, 54.
Hong Kong media outlets reported that the Chinese actor- singer and Kwan are in a relationship despite their 20-year age gap. The rumoured couple hit it off after being introduced to each other by a friend. Zhoumi was also said to have stood by the senior actress after she split with her husband.
It is still unclear how long both of them have been dating, but reports claimed Zhoumi was in attendance at Kwan’s birthday party and they have also been enjoying secret yacht dates. In the wake of the dating rumours, SM Entertainment, the agency of Zhoumi, dismissed the reports as untrue in a statement to All-kpop. Kwan’s representative also strongly denied the rumours and called them “lies” and “nonsense”. Zhoumi also brushed off the rumours via social media. “I have really many girlfriends,” Soompi quoted the Chinese actor/singer as saying on his official Weibo account. “Thank you all so much for loving me,” he wrote alongside photos of himself with several female fans.
Kwan was previously married to billionaire art collector Pierre Chen. However, the couple filed for divorce in 2015. Kwan has been married twice, she was previously married to Hong Kong businessman Chris Wong for a brief period.
Zhoumi started his career as the frontman of the ChineseSouth Korean boy band SuperJunior M in 2008. Four years later, he made his acting debut by bagging the lead role in the drama ‘When Love Walked In’. In 2014, Zhoumi joined as a member of SM The Ballad and made his solo debut with the mini- album, “Rewind” later that year.
