Julie’s ‘Love Letters’ to fill the forthcoming CNY

-

KUALA LUMPUR: Time flies and Chinese New Year is just around the corner. During this festive season, have you thought of expressing your love in writing to someone you love most?

For many years, Julie’s has been championing the concept of ‘ Baked with Love’ and the spirit would keep soaring every festive season.

‘ What’s Your Love Letter?’ campaign, first launched in 2015, continues for a third year for the 2017 campaign by encouraging you to pen your love in a bold manner this festive season.

“Many no longer write letters or send greeting cards due to the rapid advancement of technology. Instead, they opt to express themselves using emails or short message services using hand phones. While technology is advancing, love is gradually decreasing. Through writing, Julie’s hopes to return the traditional way of putting down your thoughts on a piece of paper, with a pen and a simple heart. Write your touching moments and your blessings to the ones you love,” remarked Benny Chia, marketing manager of Julie’s.

“To strengthen the understanding, Julie’s also filmed true stories about the dying art of letter writing. The video revolves around three close knits families sharing about how they used to communicate with one another and how they wished to receive a heartfelt letter from their loved ones. Through this video, we hope viewers are able to narrow the gap between each other through words. This heart wrenching video- clip will be uploaded on Julie’s Biscuits YouTube channel and Facebook page.”

Benny added that in conjunction with the Chinese New Year, Julie’s Love Letters 700g comes with three different types of red packets. Each red packet has a small note inside to encourage people to express their love in a courageous manner to their family and friends.

“While everyone is looking forward to the future, Julie’s wants us to be grateful this Chinese New Year. Pen down your blessings to those whom you are thankful for and express your love to your loved ones with courage. Julie’s would like to invite you to usher the New Year with loads of love and blessings!”

“For two consecutive years ( 2015 & 2016), ‘ What’s Your Love Letter?’ campaign had received overwhelming response from the public. In 2017, Julie’s returns with a new venture by pairing up with 10 partners to launch ‘Love Invite’. ‘ Love Invite’ allows us to extend an invitation to people whom we love or those we are grateful for in life,” he added.

To create awareness, Julie’s is sending ‘ Love Invite’ with its ‘ Love Express Car’. With Love Invite, public can pen down their heartfelt messages to their loved ones and invite them to spend time together this festive season. The ‘Love Invite’ consists of food and beverages, tour, leisure activities and other types of offers to be enjoyed together.

In addition, public can also visit www.to get their hands on these vouchers. They can customize their messages, download the voucher and invite their loved ones for a time together. Apart from ‘ Love Invite’, Julie’s is also running a “Moments Together Contest” to appreciate loyal consumers.
