P’ Residence receives OP from MPP
KUCHING: Padawan Municipal Council ( MPP) presented the occupational permit ( OP) for completed projects at P’Residence in Batu Kawa here yesterday.
MPP chairman Lo Khere Chiang personally handed over the OP to the project’s developer Tenaga Stabil Sdn Bhd of Tenaga Seri Wangsa Group.
Lo, who is also Batu Kitang assemblyman, described the event as historic, saying it was the first time an MPP chairman had done such a thing as he wanted to show gratitude for a job well done by the developer in his area. The event also marked the opening ceremony for ‘ The Clubhouse’ of P’ Residence.
“For MPP, the more people living in the area spells more revenue for the council. They have also done a tremendous job in developing this area too,” added Lo. He was representing Local Government Minister Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian at the event. Also present during the ceremony was project chairman Dato Ahmad Ibrahim.
About 70 per cent of P’ Residence project’s Blocks 4, 5 and 6 have been sold. The project was estimated for completion by next year.
