Usher in Year of Rooster at Pullman Miri Waterfront

MIRI: Pullman Miri Waterfront is ushering in the Year of the Rooster with a myriad of exciting Lunar New Year promotions and events.

Its marketing communications manager Lian Pasan said this would be the first Chinese New Year for the hotel following its soft opening in April and grand opening in September 2016.

“As a prelude to the Chinese New Year, the hotel prepared Yee Sang Takeaway sets of chilled salmon, chilled tuna belly and abalone.

“The takeaway set s a re available at Le Café in the hotel lobby. Suitable for company, organisation, group of friends and family get together before or during Chinese New Year itself. As the say goes, ‘ Yee Sang - the higher you toss, the more luck and prosperity will come to you’,” Lian said in a statement yesterday.

Pullman Miri Waterfront is also offering an exclusive selection of 8- course celebration menu at the banquet hall on level 6 on Jan 27.

A menu that is steeped in tradition and symbolism, yet provocative and inspired for reunion dinners at the hotel’s banquet room on level 6. The menu includes Salmon Yee Sang, Pullman hot and cold four seasons combination, braised seafood soup with dry scallop and bamboo pith, baked eight treasure chicken with roast vegetables, stir-fried prawns with black pepper and crispy seafood dumpling, steamed dragon tiger garoupa with king soya and Chinese wolfberry, braised sea cucumber with scallops, pumpkin ring and seasonal vegetables and twin prosperity desserts to complete the dinner.

Meanwhile, the all- day dining restaurant, Pullman Kitchen will offer an extensive spread of Chinese New Year favourites on Jan 27 and 28.

The buffet opens from 6.30pm to 10.00pm with focus on ‘Recipes for Prosperity’ with Pullman Miri’s signature salmon Yee Sang, seafood, carvings, noodles station, Peking duck, salad bar, dessert corner and more!

To mark the end of the lunar celebration, Pullman Kitchen will provide an avenue for Chap Goh Mei reunion buffet dinner from 6.30pm to 10.00pm.
