Overwhelming response for Melia Residences at ParkCity Eastwood
MIRI: Pantai Bayu Indah Sdn Bhd ( PBI) – a subsidiary under Perdana ParkCity Sdn Bhd – said it had an overwhelming response to its first offering of Melia Residences, which consists of double-storey terraced houses.
According to a press release, the launch on Jan 13 saw successful registrants arriving at the show gallery as early as 8am for their unit selection. Out of the total of 340 units being offered for the initial phase, 93 per cent had been taken up.
Melia Residences is a PPA1M (Perumahan Penjawat Awam 1Malaysia) project – a programme initiated by the government for civil servants.
Set within the master plan of ParkCity Eastwood, each Melia Residences unit comes with four bedrooms and three bathrooms within a spacious 1,200 sq ft home with carefully designed living and dining areas, as well as wet and dry kitchens. The lot size of a typical intermediate unit is 22x80ft and the price is capped at RM300,000 per unit.
“We are very encouraged with this overwhelming response and with the good take up rate, this project is no doubt a good buy.
“With support from Lembaga Pembiayaan Perumahan Sektor Awam (a statutory body established under the Public Sector Home Financing Board Act 2015) during the event to assist on loan assessments and loan applications, it makes it very convenient for the successful purchasers as well,” said PBI sales director Loh Poh Khim.
Melia Residences is a 89- acre development located on part of the ParkCity Eastwood master plan development. The project is strategically located at Miri East which is approximately 7km from Miri Airport and approximately 8km from the city centre.
Additionally, this master plan is connected directly with the Pan Borneo Highway, which links Sabah and Sarawak to Brunei.
The master plan of ParkCity Eastwood is a 2,818- acre integrated township development comprising mixed commercial and residential projects, institutions, schools, a recreational park and many more.
