Kate Hudson’s make-up simple but ‘impactful’ at SAGA
KATE Hudson’s make-up was simple but “impactful” at the Screen Actors Guild ( SAG) award, according to beauty expert Debra Ferullo.
The 37-year- old actress adorned an “elegant yet sexy” all-black floor-length dress with sequin panelling over the chest with a transparent mesh cape to this year’s prestigious event, which took place on Sunday, and to complete Kate’s ensemble her beauty stylist decided not to go overboard with the cosmetic products she used, although she still wanted the blonde beauty to turn heads with her appearance.
Speaking about her make-up choices for the prestigious bash, which took place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Debra told E! News: “Her dress was so elegant, yet sexy, so we didn’t want too much going on with the make-up ... but I definitely wanted it to be impactful.”
Although Debra wanted to keep the ‘ Fool’s Gold’ star’s beauty look simple she has admitted it wasn’t a straight forward process as she applied “a few different shades” of foundation to the star to add dimension, although she didn’t apply a dusting of bronzer or rouge blusher. She explained: “I think it really helps if you use a few different shades when doing your foundation. Using only one shade can sometimes give you a bit of a flat look and that is not what I wanted here. By doing it this way, we didn’t need to use any blush or bronzers.”
