KUCHING: Jessie Chung’s ‘ Be Strong’ stage show at Boulevard Shopping Mall on Sunday attracted a huge crowd which packed the venue to maximum capacity with barely any standing room.

She performed well and interacted with the crowd despite suffering a bad injury on the bridge of her nose during a recent badminton match.

Sheinvitedmembersofthepublic to sing along as she performed, with lyrics conveniently displayed on a screen behind her. She was accompanied on some songs by dancers.

During the intermission, Chung also gave health tips to the crowd such as to get enough sleep, drink a lot of water and avoid cold drinks after meals, exercise regularly, don’t smoke, don’t eat unhealthy food, as well as to love and forgive others.

“In the past, I tried to commit suicide because I could not accept who I am. Thankfully God saved me and allow me to understand the meaning of life, and this became my mission.

“Aside from helping everyone to detoxify their bodies, I emit positive energy through my songs and use music therapy to detoxify people’s minds, and encourage them to live on,” she said.
