Over 93 pct employment rate for Swinburne graduates

-

KUCHING: The most recent graduate-tracer study carried out by the Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus Career Office shows the overall employment rate of graduates at over 93 per cent, with several Business and Engineering programmes reporting 100 per cent employment rates.

Swinburne offers students a higher education that is uniquely Australian, with skills which are relevant to industry and an internationally recognised degree.

Its business, computing, design, engineering and science programmes are accredited by professional bodies and are identical to those at its home campus in Melbourne, Australia.

Swinburne Sarawak students are awarded the same Australian degree as students who study in Melbourne.

Although the courses may be completed at Swinburne Sarawak, degree students may transfer to the Melbourne campus to complete them with flexible options beginning from as short as one semester.

Students can also go on exchange semester to the home campus in Melbourne while paying Swinburne Sarawak tuition fees, which is about a third of the cost.

Tertiary education at Swinburne Sarawak is only a fraction of the cost of studying in Australia.

The lower cost of living in Kuching compared to other major towns in Malaysia, makes Swinburne Sarawak an attractive option for many.

Swinburne also has 40 extracurricular sports and recreational clubs to choose from for fun and educational activities to help mould students into well-rounded individuals.

To learn more about Swinburne courses and programmes, visit the booth during the eighth Borneo Post International Education Fair (BPIEF) at Vivacity Megamall on March 11-12 from 10am till 7pm.

BPIEF 2017 will have some 50 exhibitors with 75 booths confirmed and 8,000 visitors expected.
