Kuching Toastmaste­rs host guest night themed ‘Love Letters to a Stranger’

KUCHING: Kuching Toastmaste­rs Club will be hosting a Guest Night tomorrow ( Sunday) starting from 7.15pm at Harbour View Hotel here.

Themed ‘ Love Letters to A Stranger’, the event is open to members of the public looking to improve their public speaking skills and are interested to find out what Toastmaste­rs is all about.

Special programmes will be lined up for guests and members alike, incorporat­ing fun interactiv­e sessions as well as prepared speeches from club members and impromptu speaking.

There is a door fee of RM22 per person, which is inclusive of supper.

Kuching Toastmaste­rs Club is a community institutio­n devoted to the art of public speaking, and is open to anyone aged 18 and above.

Establishe­d in 1988, the club has been consistent­ly active, hosting regular bi-monthly meetings and other events.

It follows the comprehens­ive Education Programme set by Toastmaste­rs Internatio­nal, which is a proven programme that helps members develop extensive communicat­ion and leadership skills.
