Meanwhile, the Association of Registered Childcare Providers Malaysia (ARCPM) recently highlighted that most kindergartens and day care centres had increased fees by between 20 and 50 per cent due to increased operational costs.

“In terms of fees, Smart Reader Kids is more reasonable compared to other private preschools. The fees have been maintained since 2013. The quality of the programmes however has never been compromised,” said Smart Reader Kids ( Taman Hock Lee) Bintulu franchisee Sophia Laka.

“Each Smart Reader programme undergoes comprehensive research and development which focuses on a holistic approach that develops a child’s academic, motor and emotional skills.”

Smart Reader Kids ( Taman Putra Jaya, Bintulu) franchisee Koh Chi Hui added that she received positive feedback on its fees and programmes from parents. All 350 Smart Reader Kids centres nationwide will not be increasing fees despite rising operational costs this year.
