Mercedes-Benz Malaysia to enhance EEV car service
PUCHONG: Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Sdn Bhd is set to enhance its energy efficient vehicle (EEV) service with the launch of a RM74 million headquarters, Wisma Mercedes-Benz, which will also house the Mercedes- Benz Malaysia (MBM) Training Academy.
President and chief executive officer Dr Claus Weidner said the new building enables the company to remain consistent in providing a high level of service, expertise and reliability to customers.
“Malaysia is an important market for the Mercedes-Benz brand.
The lead we have taken in the premium vehicle segment indicates the trust customers have in our vehicles and service quality,” he told reporters after the launch of the headquarters yesterday.
The MBM training academy features a fully operational workshop for real world workplace simulation and state- of- the- art purposefully built training rooms equipped according to the latest Daimler AG Global Training standard.
The academy is expected to recruit 60 students annually, for a course period of three years, and four-year guarantee of employment on completion.
Weidner said the group’s continuous efforts at enhancing the experience of customers, each time they encounter the MercedesBenz brand, would help drive its success.
“We will continue investing in our dealer network and in enhancing all customer touch points nationwide.
“We will also continue to extend our unwavering support to the nation’s ambition of becoming an EEV hub in line with global standards,” he added.
The headquarters is built over 111,000 square feet of land, with the operations offices utilising about 53,000 square feet.
