MMS holds education fair from tomorrow till March 12
KUCHING: Students who are unsure of what to do after SPM, STPM and UEC are urged to come and meet representatives of local and overseas institutions at the MMS Education Fair which is on from Mar 4-12.
Market Management Services Sdn Bhd ( MMS) the pioneer education placement in East Malaysia is organising the annual MMS Education Fair throughout the states of Sabah and Sarawak.
The fair is at Pullman Kuching on Mar 4, 12noon - 5pm; Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu on Mar 5, 12noon - 5pm; ParkCity Everly Bintulu on Mar 6, 2pm - 5pm; Imperial Hotel Miri on Mar 7, 2pm - 6pm; Tanahmas Hotel Sibu on Mar 8, 2pm - 6pm; Billion Waterfront Hotel Labuan on Mar 9, 2pm - 5pm; Promenade Hotel Tawau on Mar 10, 1pm - 5pm; Sabah Hotel Sandakan on Mar 11, 1pm - 5pm.
The education fair, a regular feature in MMS calendar is to give students and parents an opportunity to meet and discuss future study plans with colleges and universities in the various countries they are considering for their further studies.
“For this March MMS Education Fair, we have 31 participants from colleges and universities around the world. Their representatives advice students and parents on study options and pathways to match individual student career, budget and results,” said May Tan, who has been with MMS for over two decades.
With so many choices of majors available, students can choose to complete their courses in Malaysia or transfer the credits to overseas institutions or twinning options.
The participating institutions from Australia are Curtin College, Curtin University, International Institute of Business & Technology ( IIBT), JMC Academy ( Brisbane, Melbourne & Sydney), Monash University, Murdoch Institute of Technology ( MIT), Murdoch University, Navitas Australia (Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth, Queensland & Sydney), Newcastle International College ( NIC), Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Taylors College (Adelaide, Perth & Sydney), The Kilmore International School (TKIS), The University of Melbourne, The University of Western Australia ( UWA), University of Canberra, University of Tasmania ( UTAS) and William Angliss Institute.
From Malaysia - Asia Pacific University (APU), Curtin University Sarawak Campus, HELP University, Heriot-Watt University Malaysia, INTI International University & Colleges, Raffles College of Higher Education, Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus, Taylor’s University, The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus and University of Southampton Malaysia Campus.
