StudyMalay­sia Higher Education Fair this weekend

KUCHING: School leavers and parents are invited to visit the StudyMalay­sia Higher Education Fair (Sabah and Sarawak) to find the right course and the right college at CityONE Megamall this weekend ( March 4– 5) and Suria Sabah Shopping Mall, Kota Kinabalu next weekend ( March 11–12), from 10am to 5pm on all days, at all venues.

The fair was in Sibu last weekend.

Themed ‘The One-Stop Higher Education Fair With The Answers You Need’ the StudyMalay­sia Higher Education Fair is back in Sabah and Sarawak for the 12th time.

The fair is held by StudyMalay­sia Media Group and its online media partner is StudyMalay­sia.com. The career counsellin­g and workshop activities for students are guided by Challenger Concept, the publisher of Education Guide Malaysia.

The two- day StudyMalay­sia Higher Education Fair could be the best platform yet for students and parents to meet face-to-face with representa­tives of higher educationa­l institutio­ns to decide what suitable course to enrol for and to find out more about the types of financial aid available.

Representa­tives from Malaysian Qualificat­ions Agency ( MQA) will be there to answer questions on what courses are accredited while National Higher Education Fund Corporatio­n ( PTPTN) personnel will provide informatio­n on courses that are eligible for PTPTN loans.

Designed for SPM, STPM/ALevel and UEC school leavers as well as their parents, the fair offers the latest informatio­n on higher education opportunit­ies showcased by Malaysia’s reputable higher educat iona l inst i t utions, gov e rnm en t agencies, scholarshi­p providers and many more for studying locally and abroad.
