Sheda Kuching’s ‘1st Home and Property Roadshow’ now on

KUCHING: SHEDA Kuching’s ‘1st Home and Property Road show 2017’ is being held at Boulevard shopping mall from March 3 to 5.

“The roadshow showcases houses and properties to cater to the needs of various stratum of society. This is our ‘first’ road show in 2017, more are coming,” said organising chairman Peter Lau at the opening ceremony yesterday.

He said over 40 booths consisting of Sheda and non-Sheda members were participat­ing in the roadshow to showcase properties in Malaysia.

Bank Negara personnel are also present at the road show providing informatio­n on personal credit through Central Credit Reference Informatio­n System, banking advisory and financial management through Counsellin­g and Credit Management Agency.

Also, Honda and Mitsubishi are also showcasing their latest vehicle models and promotions.

According to Lau, potential buyers would have a chance to win electrical appliances in the ‘Buy & Win’ lucky draw. The grand prize winner will walk away with a 43inch Panasonic Full HD Led TV. The result would be announced around 8pm on Sunday ( March 5).

As part of their social corporate responsibi­lity programmes, Sheda Kuching has given donations worth over RM15,000 in cash and in kind to three selected charitable organisati­ons namely Kuching Life Care Society ( KLCS), Sarawak Women for Women Society and Kuching Autistic Associatio­n.

KLCS, Sheda Kuching and Sarawak General Hospital will be having a blood donation drive from 10am to 2pm tomorrow at Boulevard.

Other programmes include colouring contest, clown appearance­s and performanc­es to entertain the children.

“It’s a great chance for those who wish to source for properties of various price segments under one roof,” said Lau.

He added that despite the weakening Ringgit and other increases to developers’ costs, property prices had been fairly stable and prices might go up again when the property market enters an upturn.

The guest- of-honour at the opening ceremony was Assistant Minister for Local Government Datu Dr Penguang Manggil. Also present was Sheda Kuching branch chairman Dr Christophe­r Ngui.
