CT Academic ‘Go Study Education Fair’ at Imperial Palace Hotel today

MIRI: CT Academic will be organising ‘Go Study Education Fair’ at Imperial Palace Hotel today (4 March) from 2pm to 6pm to help school leavers on their further education applicatio­ns.

Free course and scholarshi­p counsellin­g will be available. Admission is free and all school leavers are invited to attend with their parents and friends.

There will be eleven institutio­ns from Malaysia and United Kingdom at the education fair. The institutio­ns are Curtin University Malaysia, KDU University College, University of Nottingham Malaysia, Raffles Design Institute, Taylor’s College and Taylor’s University, Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus, UCSI University, Perdana University, Asia Pacific University of Technology (A.P.U.) and lastly, ASA Overseas for UK education counsellin­g.

The event aimed to help students plan their next study plan now that they have received their UEC/ STPM/A Levels result or will be receiving their SPM results next week.

SPM students although will not receive their actual SPM results until 16 March, are still highly encouraged to attend the fair to get early informatio­n on their courses, fee structure and scholarshi­ps because once results are released, they can then immediatel­y apply for entry before closing date.

During the education fair, they can grab early promotions such as scholarshi­ps, bursaries, registrati­on fee waivers and also discounts on tuition fees. Students can also use their forecast results for on-the- spot registrati­on.

CT Academic counsellor­s Crystal, Ing Hui and Esther will also guide students and parents on the correct and most suitable pathway for further studies, including free counsellin­g on courses, budget, accommodat­ion and for overseas applicatio­n to UK, visa applicatio­n as well.
