International colleges, universities at MMS education fair
KUCHING: Market Management Sdn Bhd (MMS) organised an education fair which was participated by 31 representatives from various colleges and universities worldwide at Pullman Hotel here yesterday.
According to MMS manager May Tan the fair would head to Kota Kinabalu on March 5 and thereafter to Bintulu, Miri, Sibu, Labuan, Tawau with the last stop at Sandakan on March 12.
The schedule is as follows: Le Meridian Kota Kinabalu on March 5 from 12noon5pm, Bintulu on March 6 from 2pm-6pm, Imperial Hotel Miri on March 7 from 2pm6pm, Tanahmas Hotel Sibu on Mac 8 from 2pm-6pm, Billion Waterfront Hotel Labuan on Mac 10 from 2pm-5pm, Promenade Hotel Tawau on Mac 11 from 1pm-5pm and Sabah Hotel Sandakan on Mac 12 from 1pm5pm.
Colleges offering Foundation and A-Level with the option of Internaional Year One from the UK participating at the fair are Bellerbys College, MPW Schools & Colleges, Kaplan International Colleges (KIC), Kings Education, Navitas UK and Study Group International Study Centre (ISC). Participating UK universities are Birmingham City University (BCU), Coventry University, Northumbria University and University of Leeds.
This year MMS expanded their study destinations to include USA via Shorelight Education and Kings Education.
Australian colleges and universities participating in the education fair are Curtin College, Curtin University, Monash University, Navitas Australia (Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth, Queensland and Sydney), Queensland University of Technology (QUT), The Kilmore International School (TKIS), University of Western Australia (UWA), University of Tasmania and William Angliss Institute.
Participating education institutions from Singapore are James Cook University (JCU), Kaplan Higher Education Academy (KHEA), PSB Academy, SIM Global Education (SIMGE) and Curtin Singapore.
From Malaysia, the participants are University of Southampton Malaysia Campus, Herriot-Watt University Malaysia, University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus, Swinburne University Technology Sarawak Campus and HELP University.
