Facon Education Fair in East M’sia this weekend
KUCHING: Facon Education Fair will be in East Malaysia on March 18–19 to provide vital information on local and overseas further study options.
In a press statement, the organiser disclosed that the fair is endorsed by the Ministry of Higher Education in recognition of its success and contributions to the education industry and human resource development.
School leavers and working adults will have a unique opportunity to meet with representations of renowned education institutions.
On March 18, the fair will be at Hyatt Regency Hotel, Kota Kinabalu and on March 19, it will be at Riverside Majestic in Kuching.
Those who are interested to pursue their higher education studies locally will not be disappointed as major local and award-winning institutions like Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), Erican College, International Medical University, SEGi University & Colleges, and UCSI University will be present.
Courses being offered at the fair include Design, IT, Business, Law, Medicine, Mass Communications, Engineering, Sciences, Accounting, Finance and more.
Many of these programmes not only emphasise academic excellence but also give equal emphasis on work experience and communication skills, thus boosting students’ employability.
For working adults who wish to pursue Postgraduate programmes, there is a wide range of options being offered.
National Higher Education Fund Corporation ( PTPTN) will be at the fair at all venues to disseminate information on study loans.
Visitors are advised to bring along their result slips and relevant documents for more accurate assessment when meeting the counsellors and representatives of the various institutions.
Facon Education Fairs kicked off in Kuala Lumpur on Feb 25.
The fair’s opening hours are from noon to 6pm.
