Prison officers receive excellence awards, certificates

SIBU: A total of 26 prison officers received awards and certificates in conjunction with 227th Malaysia Prison Day celebration at Futsal Court in Perpaduan Road here yesterday.

Among the awards and certificates were Loyalty Service Award, Excellence Award, Character Award, Good Deeds Award, Red Ribbons Highest Honour Certification, Green Ribbons Honour Certificate and Appreciation Certificate.

State Prison director Ajidin Salleh presented the awards to the recipients witnessed by Sibu Prison director Bismillah Abang Masra.

Later, Ajidi read a message from the director general of Prison Dato Sri Zulkifli Omar.

In his address, Zulkifli urged all prison officers to always give their best in serving the country.

He also urged them to continue to upgrade their professionalism and capabilities in order to provide quality services.
