Various govt bodies to take part in ‘meet-the-people’ session

SIBU: A host of activities have been lined up in conjunction with the ‘meet-the-people’ session at Rumah Merayang, Nanga Malat in Ulu Anap, Tatau on Mar 25.

Organising chairman Bayang Ringkat said the main objective of the programme was to enable the rural folks to be served by various government agencies.

He said the National Registration Department will set up counters from Mar 2225 to facilitate applications for registration of various documents.

Those requiring the service should come with their respective longhouse chiefs, penghulu and informant.

On Mar 25 starting at 9am, there will be talks and service counters set up by Fire and Rescue Department ( Bomba), Malaysia Palm Oil Board, Malaysia Pepper Board and Agriculture Department.

Guest- of-honour at the ‘meetthe-people’ session will be Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Joseph Entulu Belaun, who is Selangau MP.
