Boulevard Cup Chinese chess competition this weekend
KUCHING: Members of the public are invited to watch the Boulevard Cup Kuching Xiang Qi ( Chinese Chess) Championship this Friday to Sunday at Boulevard Shopping Mall.
The competition, which is organised by Boulevard Shopping Mall together with Kuching Xiang Qi Association and supported by Greenzone Hygiene, has attracted participation from more than 100 Chinese chess players.
The championship is divided into four categories and will be taking place on the second floor of the mall’s new wing, in front of Mr DIY.
The organisers hope contestants will be able to enhance their skills and gain valuable experience from the competition.
Kuching Xiang Qi Association president Kapitan Datuk Lau Sie Lok is expected to attend the closing- cum-prize- giving ceremony.
