Rob Lowe hosts new unscripted TV series about supernatural phenomena

-

ROB LOWE takes his two adult sons on a cross- country journey exploring unsolved mysteries of the supernatural kind in a new unscripted TV series set to air this summer.

In “The Lowe Files,” the actor and his sons Matthew, 23, and John Owen, 21, embark on a journey across the US investigating local ghost stories with experts and academics, such as reports of an underwater alien base off the coast of Malibu and Preston Castle, an abandoned boys reformatory near Sacramento rumoured to be haunted, reports Variety.

“Since I was a kid I’ve loved unexplained legends, strange phenomena and the scary, supernatural stories told around campfi res,” said Lowe in a statement.

“When I became a father I shared those tales with my two sons. Together we bonded over Bigfoot, UFOs, and every creepy and bizarre story we could fi nd, passionately debating if they were real ... or not. And we swore that someday the three of us would go on our own adventure to fi nd out. That day has come.”

Nine half-hour episodes will premiere this summer on A& E. — Relaxnews
