Ruby Lin's three golden rules for losing weight

-

TAIPEI: No fried food, lesser take- out meals, and more water.

These are the three golden rules for losing weight that Taiwanese actress Ruby Lin swears by.

The 41-year- old, who gave birth to her daughter, nicknamed “Little Angel” in January this year, looked as slim as ever at a promotional event for good friend Alec Su’s latest movie, ‘ The Devotion of Suspect X’.

When asked to reveal the secrets to her weight loss, Ruby shared that as she’s currently breastfeeding, she cannot do any extreme diets. However, she tries to eat clean for all her meals and has cut out fried food from her diet. She also limits herself from eating out and drinks more water.

“Losing weight after giving birth is an endless road,” the mother- of- one shared.

Ruby also gamely shared her daily meal plan with everyone.

For breakfast, she drinks two bottles of chicken essence, with fried ginger and egg as well as eucommia bark soup. Lunch is a simple affair, with either blanched pork neck or steamed fish, with 1/3 bowl of five grain rice and blanched vegetables. For dinner, the actress has either roasted lamb chop or grilled steak with blanched vegetables. Her snacks consists of fresh fruits.

In other related news, as her husband, Taiwanese actor Wallace Huo is busy with work lately, the family- of-three does not get to spend much time together.

However, Ruby shared that the actor returned to Taiwan to be with her when she gave birth. Wallace will also make it a point to be with her during their birthdays or Chinese New Year.

Ruby tied the knot with Wallace in Bali last August. The couple remained fiercely private about their personal life, especially Ruby’s pregnancy, after the wedding. The birth of their daughter in January was only announced days after her delivery.
