Coming Mitraf14 features over 70 booths

MIRI: The much anticipate­d 14th Miri Trade Fair ( Mitraf14) which falls on March 30 to April 2 at Bintang Megamall Miri, is offering a variety of attraction­s to members of the public.

Organised by See Hua Marketing Miri branch, the event has more than 70 booths featuring electrical appliances, mobile gadgets, alarm system, security door, home flooring and furniture; kitchenwar­e, homemade food products, handicraft­s, insurance, travel agencies, plastic ware, tertiary institutio­ns and health products.

Organising chairlady Yii Mee Siew said more products will be exhibited at the expo this time, thus the public is encouraged to visit the event over the four days.

Besides enjoying special discounts, she said customers who spend RM100 and above in a single receipt or RM300 booking fee at any of these booths stand the chance to win a lucky draw.

Altogether, there would be 23 lucky draw prizes offering attractive prizes like cooking hood, air- conditione­r, sewing machine, mixer, rice cooker, kitchen ware and so on, she

Meanwhile, Yii reminded members of the public especially subscriber­s of See Hua Daily News, The Borneo Post, thesundayp­ost and Utusan Borneo to arrive early to the event venue to redeem ‘ Reader’s Benefits’ which starts from 11am at Bintang’s ground floor.

Over the four- day event, there will be a mix of Chinese cultural and family- fun activities and charity sale by schools and nonprofit organisati­ons for all to participat­e in or to simply enjoy themselves.

The programmes lined-up are senior citizens karaoke session, health talk, Veteran Hokkien singing competitio­n, parentchil­dren fashion contest, parentchil­dren ‘Love Our Earth’ contest, Cardio- Konga dancing show by Misa Luvi, Chinese orchestra show, classical Chinese poem competitio­n, bridal show, cooking demo and cartoon fest.

The charity sales by Miri Zhang Zhen Welfare Associatio­n, Riam Road Middle School, SMK Chung Hua Miri will be held separately over the four days.

One of the highlights of the event, according to Yii, is the Mitraf grand opening by Cr Aries Leong who will represent mayor Adam Yii on March 31 between 7pm and 8pm.

Yii expressed her utmost gratitude to Miri City Council ( MCC) and Bintang Megamall for their continuous support to Miri Trade Fair.
