Chamber receives 20 nominations for committee posts

KAPIT: The Kapit Chinese Chamber of Commerce ( KCCC) received a total of 20 nominations for its new management committee.

The nomination period closed on Monday (March 27).

“The members are to elect 15 of them to be in the management committee for 2017 to 2018,” said appointed election officer Pemanca Yong Thu Fook.

The candidates are Ling Hang Ping, Lin Kong Sie, Kong Hock Ping, Ngieng Hock Seng, Teo Tian Chai, Sii Bang Ee, Penghulu Wong Kie Ing, Kapitan Yiap Yii Hoo, Sia Aik Hui, Ting Hwa Kiong, Tiong Ping, Tong Chan Tze, Wong Kie Wei, Datuk Yong Hua Sying, Liew Song Swee, councillor David Wong, Micky Ngu, Kho Cheak Chai. Ting King Yiing and Yii Kau Chai.

The election will be held during the chamber’s biennial general meeting on April 13.
