Jerenang heads Gerempong Raban Pakan 2017-2019 period
PAKAN: GerempongRabanPakan (GRP), an association specially set up to serve the local community here has elected Jerenang Jawa as chairman for the 2017-2019 period during its annual general meeting held recently.
Other members of the committee are Anding Egoh (deputy chairman); Enid Asin (secretary); Ngadan Unan (assistant secretary); Dana Empading (treasurer); Jeffrey Bana (assistant treasurer); and Johnny Banyang ( publicity chief).
Heading the sub- committees are Dymond Sirai ( business/ economy); Matthew Brundang ( youth development); Juna Jelanie ( education ); Inggit Barau ( culture); Stephen Manai (welfare); Alexson Lai (current issues); Lawrence Valentine Kapat (agriculture); Encharang Ngintih (infrastructure development); Stephen Fung Kok Fa (motivation/ awareness); Garthor Nelly ( home economy).
Addressing the committee members, Jerenang said GRP would emphasise on quality education as a means to prosper the community while promoting unity among the diverse races.
