DBKU encourages use of reusable shopping bags

KUCHING: Kuching North City Commission ( DBKU) is encouragin­g the use of reusable shopping bags to reduce the number of plastic bags.

The ‘ Kiss Goodbye to Plastic’ campaign launched during Agenda DBKU last month includes the introducti­on of a special edition reusable bag.

In partnershi­p with Borneo Talk, the limited edition bags are available at RM10 each and come with a limited edition BorneoTalk Privilege Card, which offers discounts at more than 100 merchant partners.

The bags are available from the BorneoTalk office at 242E, Lorong Green No. 3, Jalan Green. For more informatio­n on the ‘ Kiss Goodbye to Plastic’ campaign, go to www.dbku.sarawak.gov.my.
