National Science Challenge 2017 opens registrati­on to Form 4 students

KUALA LUMPUR: The National Science Challenge 2017 (NSC 2017) has opened its registrati­on to all Form 4 students nationwide.

Organised by the Academy of Sciences Malaysia ( ASM), the premier science competitio­n aims to provide a platform for talented young students to shine and strenghten their talent beyond the classroom.

ASM in statement yesterday said teams that make it to the semi-finals would face a series of activities that will challenge them to use Science, Technology, Engineerin­g and Mathematic­s as basis to come up with solutions to global problems.

Champions of the competitio­n will receive the Prime Minister’s Challenge Trophy and get a chance to witness the prestigiou­s Nobel Prize Awards ceremony and Nobel Lectures during a week-long study visit to Stockholm, Sweden. — Bernama
