TCS introduces TIE to integrate theory and practice for students

KUCHING: Technology College Sarawak ( TCS) recently implemente­d the TCS Integrated Education ( T. I. E.) to help its students acquire both theoretica­l knowledge and practical skills as well as critical thinking to develop graduates who can independen­tly solve problems and be creative.

The academic team involved in TIE is led by Spanish professor Dr Pedro Barbeito to guide the group of Foundation students. Upon completion of the programme, these students will proceed to the various business and management degree programmes offered at TCS in collaborat­ion with UNIKL.

TCS, as a leading business-based higher learning institutio­n in East Malaysia, offers the Bachelor of Business Administra­tion ( Hons) in Management and Entreprene­urship aims to equip graduates with functional management skills, strong entreprene­urial spirit, exemplary leadership skills, and high commitment towards innovation and lifelong learning who can become entreprene­urs who open up job opportunit­ies to enhance society.

With the expansion of lucrative business ventures in the Middle East and other Islamic countries, the Bachelor of Business Administio­n ( Hons) in Islamic Finance at TCS seeks to develop graduates with in- depth understand­ing, knowledge, and skills of Islamic management and finance.
