Register now for Share The Fun 3.0 event on April 23

KUCHING: Registration is now open for Share The Fun 3.0, a run and ride event organised by The Loving Society Kuching.

Members of the public can visit the roadshow at VivaCity Megamall over the weekends leading to the actual run and ride event on April 23 to get more information as well as to register as participants.

The objective of the event, according to a publicity release, is to motivate and encourage people to lead a healthy and active lifestyle especially through running and cycling.

In addition, the event also hopes to promote various local voluntary service groups and charitable organisations as well as to enhance public awareness on road safety.

The organiser is targeting 500 participants to join the event which is divided into two categories namely the Fun Run, a 5km city run and the Fun Ride, a 40km cycling event, to be fl agged off from the Kuching Waterfront’s Square Tower at 6am on April 23.

The registration fee is RM50 per person inclusive of a fun pack filled with a quick dry t- shirt and BIB number.

A unique fi nisher medal will be given out on the actual day for participants who successfully complete the event within two hours.

The fun pack collection will be on April 15 and 16 at VivaCity Megamall from 10am to 10pm.
