The 10 outstanding athletes were all gold medallists and/or record breakers at the recent statelevel schools championships held in Kuching.

Two of them - shot putters Zeronnie Felipe Thomas ( Boys Under- 15) and Kee Jeep Wen ( Boys Under-18) - threw 16.81m and 16.24m respectively which surpassed records of the national schools championships.

The school has been Miri divisional schools champions in track and field since 2010 and their athletes have played a large part in helping Miri capture the state inter-division title numerous times in the last eight years.
