Ultrasound alternative to steroid-based skincare products
KUCHING: Be careful of steroidbased skincare products as it will be harmful not only for your skin but body as well.
Natural Beauty and Hair Academy’s principal Winnie Tay said these products can have a lot of side effects such as on immune systems, with the worst case scenario leading to a heart attack.
“Some of my customers have no idea what these products are doing to their bodies. It is better to use natural products and beauty treatments,” she said.
One of the treatments offered at the academy is ultrasound treatment.
“This treatment helps your skin in generating collagen, lifting and rebuilding broken tissue, restructuring its layers and regaining its firm and elastic condition.
“It activates deep skin tissue with ultrasound waves,” Tay explained.
The ultrasound treatment is recommended for those aged 30 and above.
