-

SARIKEI: The strong support rendered by the people in Repok constituency, especially the longhouse folk, to Barisan Nasional ( BN) would be reciprocated accordingly.

In stating this, its assemblyman Dato Sri Huang Tiong Sii said the BN government would deliver the projects and services promised during the last state election.

In his speeches throughout his round of visits to 15 longhouses here last Sunday and Monday, he said since he was elected as Repok assemblyman he had delivered to the constituents development projects and funds.

He believed the people were able to distinguish the difference between the services provided by BN and the opposition, pointing out that only the BN government had a proven track record in helping to improve the socio- economic well-being of the people.

He hoped the people in Repok would continue to rally behind BN and help to wrest Sarikei seat from the opposition in the upcoming general election.

Huang presented minor rural project (MRP) funds to the security and development committees of all the 15 longhouses he visited, namely Rumah Pitre Ambit, Rumah Moses, Rumah Jugah, Rumah Rampai, Rumah Ampawi/Jawa, Rumah Banun, Rumah Sabah, Rumah Lingga, Rumah Ugil, Rumah Gimang/ Saka, Rumah Tapoi, Rumah Jawi, Rumah Jaabu, Rumah Allin ( Rumah William Tandang) and Rumah Awan.

Among those accompanying Huang were Sarikei District Council chairlady Wong Zee Yeng and other SUPP Sarikei branch committee members.
