KUCHING: Another five needy families were the latest recipients of donations from a group Good Samaritans brought together by voluntary social worker Lim Chee Haw.

Lim initiated the donation drive after being notified of the plight of these families, and he also made the effort to get the donations transported to the recipients - two of whom are in Rampangi and three more in KMC Flats at Jalan Ban Hock.

Lim said the recipients in Rampangi were single mothers Qartina Mohd Esa, 42, and Siti Khadijah, 34, who still have young and school-going children to care for.

At KMC Flats, he delivered the donations to Florance Sini, Jamilah and Seri Pioh, who is blind.
